Hadiza lied! We never sponsored thugs to harass NPA MD – OMSL

The management of Ocean Marine Solutions Limited (OMSL) has debunked any knowledge or involvement in the physical attack of the Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Ms. Hadiza Bala Usman, at the National Assembly.

NPA boss Ms. Hadiza Usman petitioned the President of the Senate, Dr. Ahmad Lawan alleging that she was physically attacked by hoodlums at the premises of the National Assembly in Abuja on Tuesday.

She claimed that her attack was sponsored by Chairman of Messrs Ocean Maritime Solutions Limited (OMSL), Captain Wells Okunbo apparently over the decision of the NPA on the Secure Anchorage issue after attending investigative hearing in the Assembly.

She said that she was only saved a bigger assault by her security agents who took her into Senator Danjuma Goje’s office where she waited for the hoodlums to leave.

Reacting to the allegation, Commodore Chuma Adogu (rtd), said the allegation was a falsehood and a figment of imagination, saying the Chairman of OMSL, Captain Wells Okunbo, a fine gentlemen who has served the nation diligently in various capacities, could not have sponsored thugs to attack the NPA boss.

Commodore Adogu (retired) noted that on that Tuesday there was no any sign of such alleged attach or rented crowd in the premises of the National Assembly that could warrant such allegation, maintaining that OMSL Management came to the National Assembly just like other invited organizations on the day of the investigation by the Joint Committee of the Senate investigating the Secure Anchorage Area (SAA).

‘’On the day of the investigation at the National Assembly, we came like other invited organizations and we never came with any thugs or rented crowd to harass anybody talkless the Managing Director of NPA. The security at the premises of the National Assembly was very tight as everybody was routinely checked and controlled while entering thus forestalling any rented crowd or thugs to gain entrance. We came before the panel and presented our position in the SAA without nursing hatred against anyone.

‘’Let me make it clear to the Nigerian public that OMSL is a responsible corporate organization with a lot of Nigerians working as its employees. We are mindful of this and never can we trade it away. I repeat, we do not have hands nor did our Chairman sponsor any group of thugs to attack Ms. Hadiza Bala Usman. We see this as part of the attempts to discredit OMS and distract attention from the main issue which is already with the Senate’’ he submitted.

“Why I left South Sudan Quietly “- T.B. Joshua

The senior Prophet of Synagogue Church Of All Nations Prophet T.B. Joshua has revealed exclusively the real reasons for his quiet departure from South Sudan shortly after his meeting with President Salva Kiir on Tuesday, November 12th, 2019 inside the Presidential Palace, Juba.

He revealed that he left quietly due to divine instructions.

In a statement made available to us he said he decided to clear the air so as to put the record straight.

“ Following my ‘quiet’ departure from the country of South Sudan after a recent visit there, please permit me to clear the air on what transpired.

I know that many citizens and residents of South Sudan would have wanted me to spend a few more days with them. Indeed, I saw thousands of people waiting at the lobby of the hotel because they thought I would stay for longer.

However, I had received an instruction from God to leave immediately – without waiting for any ‘thank you’ whatsoever, whether in cash or kind.

The same God Almighty had sent me there – to pray for South Sudan and lead the nation to a new beginning. Who am I, then, to disobey the voice of my Master, my Creator, the One who gives life to us all?

On this note, therefore, I would like to urge all expectant South Sudanese and other nationals to please understand that I had to obey the voice of God.

No doubt, there is need for a revival crusade in South Sudan. As such, I await divine directions for another visit soon, for the harvest is on the way!

It would be recalled that President Salva Kiir and the First Lady Mary Ayen Mayardit received the Senior Prophet, Temitope Balogun Joshua, commonly referred to as T. B. Joshua in Juba upon arrival at Juba International Airport on Tuesday morning.

A number of senior government officials and thousands of believers from across the country also gathered at Juba International Airport to welcome the senior prophet.

In his remarks, President Salva Kiir described the visit of the Senior Prophet as a new beginning for South Sudan.

Friends, Political Associates of Akeredolu’s Cabinet Members Appointed As Sen. Ajayi Borofice’s Aides

Yesterday, a long list of 72 aides was released to the public by the Senate Deputy Majority Leader Distinguished Senator Ajayi Borofice which comprises of friends and close political associates of Akeredolu’s Cabinet members both in Ose, Owo and Akokoland.

By all indications, it shows disloyalty and insincerity on the path of those appointees. It also sends a wrong signal from their Local Government which portends a great danger to the second term ambition of our Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN and to their respective Local Governments in terms of development and government attentions.

For instance, in Ose LGA, about 80% of Sen. Ajayi Borofice’s aides were nominated by Akeredolu’s political appointees underground which has been uncovered through this appointment. In Owo LGAs about 90% were appointed while 100% were appointed in Akoko LGAs

The question is “can you claim to be my friend and still be hobnobing with my enemies?”

It’s either those Akeredolu’s appointees or some leaders of the party at the local government level are planted as moles or agents of disruption within the party.

In the list of those appointees, Akin Akinpelu from Ward 9, Imeri, who until his appointment was the PA to the Hon. Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Mr. Dotun Owanikin, was nominated by the Commissioner and appointed as the Special Assistant on Youth Development to Sen. Ajayi Borofice. Similarly Oloyede Ganiyu (a.k.a Pagede), from Ward 10 Idogun ,a close associate to Mr. Olusola Okun, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Political who are claiming to be 100% loyal to Aketi and his second term bid.

Even in the holy bible, God speaks vehemently against mischievous persons; not consistent and straight forward in their dealings.

It is on record that since his inauguration into Akeredolu’s cabinet, the Hon. Comm for Youths and Sports Development Owanikin have not attended any of the Local Government Party meeting. This is not a concocted lies to malign his image, the Local Government Party Chairman Ladi Tenabe can attest to this.

Funny enough, the current Local Government Party Secretary Dele Isibor who is a closest friend to the Local Government Caretaker Chairman Dr. Anthony Modupe was appointed Senior Special Assistant to Sen. Ajayi Borofice.

Sunday Obamadeji, a former Councillorship aspirant from Ward 12 Ute, and a close ally of Sammy Ogundeminigha, who is one of the Leaders and a decampee from AD, was also appointed as Personal Assistant to Sen. Ajayi Borofice.

Kehinde Ojumu who also made the list, appointed as the Personal Assistant on Women Affairs to Sen. Ajayi Borofice .She was nominated byOlayato Aribo being her younger Sister. They all claimed to be loyalists of Akeredolu’s government. Other party members that were claiming to be team-Aketi members were enlisted are lone rangers and not known in Ose politics.

In lieu of this appointment of betrayers, it is now crystal clear for Mr Governor to be mindful of enemies who claimed to be loyal but not, within his cabinet, especially as we approach another electioneering period.

T B Joshua’s Historic Visit To Tanzania With President Magufuli

Tanzania, Magufuli And The TB Joshua Factor
By Beatrice Mahlonga

This week, exactly four years ago, a truly historic event was witnessed in the nation of Tanzania. No, I’m not referring to the inauguration of its trailblazing President John Magufuli – although that indeed was a meteoric moment. I am talking about the extraordinary visit of Nigerian Pastor TB Joshua. At a time of political upheaval and division, the news of Joshua’s surprise journey literally dominated the headlines nationwide and significantly contributed to the reduction in post-election tension. Within hours of his touching down in Tanzania and meeting the main opposition leaders, the retributive rhetoric fuelled by the hotly-contested election cooled significantly and calmness replaced anxiety on the streets.

But why else would his visit rank so highly in my reckoning, I hear some of you inquisitively ask? Well, to put it simply, the evidence of TB Joshua’s spiritual covering in the life of President Magufuli – and the country of Tanzania by extension – is unequivocal. Since coming to office, the ‘Bulldozer’ has made a lot of ‘enemies’ – especially among those foreign business entities whose corruption and extortion he so visibly exposed. However, he has remained dogged and determined in his pursuit of betterment for the Tanzanian people – a reality which everyone, slowly but surely, is starting to reap from. Indeed, even his sternest critics can acknowledge that Tanzania has grown in leaps and bounds since his arrival to office. There was, therefore, understandable alarm when news ran amok several weeks ago that Magufuli had collapsed and was ‘allegedly’ airlifted to Germany for emergency treatment.

Days later as rumour-mongers peddled various outlandish outcomes, the President appeared back in public with his trademark stern charisma. I am personally convinced the prayers of TB Joshua led to his restoration and revitalisation. I even heard (on good authority from a Tanzanian journalist) that he sent one of his pastors from Nigeria to personally intercede for the Tanzanian leader! Sceptics and cynics may scoff and question why Nigeria’s sickness-stricken leader Muhammadu Buhari could not equally be helped by Pastor Joshua – but such arguments stem from misinterpretation of the prophetic role. President Magufuli openly acknowledges Joshua’s place in his life and leadership, even referring to him as a ‘mentor’. President Buhari has been conspicuously silent about the cleric since his assumption to power, despite bipartisan calls for him to seek prayers for his litany of debilitating ailments.

TB Joshua acts only under God’s instruction and would not undertake going to meet such leaders on his own accord. Fame and fortune are certainly not mitigating motivators. The fact is that our recognition and value of God’s servants often end up being the key that releases God to release them! As a frustrated Mr Francis Kotche penned on Facebook addressing this very issue, “Our West African Presidents in ECOWAS are sleeping, still chasing and worshipping wealth, fame and position – forgetting that the Lord is the One that makes men great and His servant TB Joshua is in their midst.”

I am not here to suggest that everything has automatically become perfect or there are no challenges in the nation. Of course there are! However, Tanzania is being shepherded by a no-nonsense leader whose policies are producing economic turnaround, stamping out corruption and encouraging morality and good neighbourliness. When TB Joshua re-shared the video of his historic visit to Tanzania on Facebook, Alpha Jeremiah succinctly surmised in a comment: “Yes, we as Tanzanians can boldly say that God has remembered our nation! The development we are experiencing in these four years since the Man of God came to visit is tremendous.”

Today, Tanzania shines as a bastion of development and progress in a continent often dominated by reports of corruption and stagnation. The Biblical adage in Matthew 10:41 springs readily to mind. Tanzania and its leader honoured the prophet and God’s blessings, wisdom and protection have flowed freely ever since!

Niger Delta Vultures after me says Akpabio

The minister of Niger Delta and former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio has denied the insinuation going round that he collected money from the former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission(NDDC), Mr Isima Ekere or any other individual for that matter. He described this allegation as spurious and part of the conspiracy of those who have been milking the resources meant for the development of the Niger Delta for the past 19 years. It is part of their effort to frustrate the forensic audit of the accounts of the NDDC ordered by President Mohammadu Buhari.
For the avoidance of doubt, Senator Akpabio states categorically that he has not received any kobo from anyone in the NDDC or any other agency of government and would want anyone who has any claim to the contrary to come out openly to lay the fact bear before the public. This is a case of corruption fighting back because they have not foreseen that a forensic audit of the accounts of the commission could ever be ordered.
To him, he had always handled any assignment given him with courage and forthrightness and this was why his stride in Akwa Ibom was described as uncommon transformation. He completely transformed the landscape of Akwa Ibom with landmarks projects like the Godswill Akpabio Stadium also known as the Nest of Champions and several roads network in the state capital and across the entire state.
He assures the people of the Niger Delta that he would not fail on the mandate given him by Mr President to make a great impact on the development of the region for the next four years. He bears no grudge against anyone and would rather focus on how to best deliver on this mandate. He called on the people of the Niger Delta and indeed Nigerians to support him to deliver on the Next level promises of Mohammadu Buhari for the nation.

The Federal Government in collaboration with the Nasarawa State Government, has disbursed loans to 500 women and youths under the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) Micro Enterprise Enhancement Scheme (MEES) in the state.
The loans were disbursed to the beneficiaries by the Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engr. Abdulkadir A. Sule, in company of the Honourable Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, SAN, at the Nasarawa State Government House, Lafia.

The Minister of State said the empowerment programme was in line with President Muhammadu Buhari’s concern about the poor and the less privileged, and the need to improve their economic status.
Keyamo said that in addition to the disbursement of loans to 500 women and youths, the Federal Government has plans to train 50 persons each from all the local government areas in the state on special skills as part of efforts to lift the people out of poverty.

Speaking, the Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr Abdullahi A. Sule, thanked the Federal Government for coming to their aid to support the people of State with empowerment programmes. “The amount may not mean a lot to some people but it means a lot to majority of the beneficiaries because that is the working capital they need”, he said.
He thanked the Minister of State for Labour and Employment for the additional 50 beneficiaries that would not only be trained but will be given the tools to work with. “They will have training, tools and support to be out of poverty. During the selection, we will be honest to select those that are truly in need so that they can benefit maximally from it.

The Governor then donated 304 hectares of land to the National Directorate of Employment for Vocational and Agricultural Training Centre in Nasarawa State.
Earlier, the Director-General, National Directorate of Employment, Dr Nasir Mohammed Ladan Argungu, said that as part of its mandate, the Directorate run skill acquisition programmes aimed at creating employment through entrepreneur skills development.

“Our aim is to ensure that the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP) of Mr. President, and his promise to Nigerians to take out 100million Nigerians out of poverty in the next ten years becomes a reality”.
He thanked the State Government for providing land to NDE to build its permanent office in the state.
